Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

KarmaRace helps users publish and complete verifiable tasks across external platforms. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how data is used.

What We Collect

  • Account information (username, email from sign-in provider).
  • Linked provider data needed for verification (GitHub and Discord identity/token where connected).
  • Task data you create (task type, target, webhook URL, descriptions).
  • Verification and activity data (task checks, completion state, notifications, karma transaction records).
  • Basic operational logs for debugging and security.

How We Use Data

  • Provide core app features (feed ranking, task verification, karma accounting).
  • Run integrations with external services you connect.
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and improve reliability.
  • Support account recovery, troubleshooting, and auditability.

Provider Tokens

OAuth access tokens are stored to perform verification calls on your behalf. You can disconnect linked accounts at any time from Linked Accounts. Disconnecting removes stored linkage used by verification features.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with infrastructure or provider APIs only when required to operate the service.

Data Retention

We retain data for service operation, audit/history needs, and security. Retention periods may vary by data type.

Your Controls

  • Edit or delete your own tasks.
  • Disconnect linked external accounts.
  • Request account-related support through project channels.
